Admist what is becoming a bucket full of examples of mindless teachers passing on their infatuation with Obama to students comes yet another example.  Within New Jersey students were recently taught to sing “praises” of Obama’s great accomplishments to the tunes of “Jesus Loves the Little Children” and “The Battle Hymn of the Republic.”  My educated guess is that the students in this video do not know the following…1. The Battle Hymn was written by a female Julia Ward Howe.

2. It is a song proclaiming trust in God at a time in our nation’s darkest hour, the Civil War.  Written because Mrs Howe heard the catchy tune and lyrics to the original tune (#3) and felt the Soldiers and Nation needed an update capturing the feeling of the Republic.

3. The song was written over the melody of the tune “John Brown’s Body.”  A song about a man hanged for efforts in trying to free slaves.

4. It first appeared in print in 1862 in the Atlantic Monthly.

5. President Lincoln first heard The Battle Hymn sung solo at a rally and when the crowd went crazy, the President with tears said, “Sing it Again.”

I do not believe these elementary students in New Jersey have any clue regarding this, but that is not their fault.  I do not believe their teacher has any clue, nor do I believe she cares.  Her love for her “savior” Obama has led her to teach her faith in a common man who has had no accomplishments and a very minimal career.

Yet, we have seen devotion like this before.  History is a great teacher and history repeats itself for those who do not heed its warnings.

So… What is Education Coming too?  Simple… Propaganda and Indoctrination towards a surrendering of Liberty to a non-benevolent government.

The solution?  Freedom.  Freedom in education and the complete withdrawl of the government from any intrusion into the lives of its citizens, especially those whom are too young to know that they are being sold a lie.  A lie that the government will take care of you and has your best interests at heart.
